There's a good chance that you've experienced this before. Your computer is acting wonky, running slowly, or something else just isn't working as expected. You call for help, and the first thing they ask you to do is reboot. Surprisingly, this resolves a large majority of issues, which is why it's such a popular first step in troubleshooting. It forces all applications to be closed, clears any caches, and gives your computer a fresh start to work from. This applies to computers, phones, televisions - pretty much anything that plugs into the wall. Don't be afraid to give it a try to see if it fixes your device's ailment!
